Walid Adenas carried on the Adenas campaign when he was selected to box against the Wales Select.
The event took place in Folkestone between the two teams with Southern Counties winning 8 bouts to 6.
From the first bell the Welsh Champion (Emyr Parry (66kg) with a record of 14 bts won 12) was ill at ease with the fast moving Adenas as he worked behind the jab, before unleashing devastating rear hands to head and body.
At the end of the first a blistering rear hand saw the opponent receive a standing eight count before the bell was rung.
Adenas applied more accurate and heavy punches and relentless pressure to secure the second round. In the third round a heavy one two combination delivered with blinding speed, saw the bout stopped early by the referee to stop his opponent receiving any more punishment.
Adenas won on a TKO of the Referee.
HOP Coach Brian Featherstone heaped praise for Adenas and commented, Walid boxed to instructions and kept his opponent long with stiff jabs and cracking rear hands.
The tempo was high with the punches straight, he is has done himself and HOP very proud.
