Another of Portsmouth’s boxing talent Josh Pritchard has reached the finals stage of a national competition. Pritchard will be competing this weekend in this years Junior ABA National Final on Saturday 30th April at Passion Night Club Formerly Known as (Amadeus), Medway Valley Leisure Park, Chariot Way, Rochester, Kent, ME2 2SS

Josh takes on one of the countries top boxing club star’s Jack Daniels (Kellys ABC) Leeds.

The H.O.P camp is not fazed by the opponent. Father and H.O.P Coach Aaron Pritchard said; Josh has never been more prepared for an event like now, he is in the shape of his life. HOP has all worked very hard to prepare Josh for the National JABA Final. Josh is looking forward to the bout and can not wait to get into the ring.

H.O.P Boss “Q” Shillingford said: “Josh is a very dedicated boxer and gives all in his training; he is another great role model in HOP”.

Josh will have a tough bout in the final; however he has already beaten a top level boxer in the JABA National Quarter final stages (Jes Smith (Bushey ABC) of the championship and knows what he has to do.

“Q” added “England International Jack Daniel beat HOP boxer Keiron Rodden in November’s CYP National Final, so we know all about him, he is a very tough customer with an excellent record, 34 bouts with 30 wins and Josh is in good form and has been very well prepared”.

“Josh has nothing to lose and all to gain, if there is going to be an upset in this year’s JABA National Final’s, H.O.P’s Josh Pritchard is the man to do it.”
